Today I’m sharing a delicious Creamsicle Smoothie recipe which includes cottage cheese. Cottage cheese boosts up your protein levels while keeping the carbs and fats low. Cottage cheese has a high content of casein protein (a longer-lasting protein) which keeps you feeling fuller longer. So not only is this DELICIOUS, it’s quite good for you.
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (I used vanilla flavor)
- 1/3 cup cottage cheese
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1 orange, peeled, pitted and sliced
- Truvia or stevia to taste
- 2 cups of ice
- Place all of the ingredients into your blender and blend on medium speed until smooth.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!
